“Passion Play” is a diorama that is also wearable as a belt buckle. As a metalsmith and jeweler as well as a miniature painter, I regularly integrate painted miniatures into my metalwork and jewelry. This piece is part of my current Morality series, where I am using the Seven Cardinal Sins as a springboard for the design of my artworks: “Lust” in this case. The first public exhibition of this piece was at ReaperCon’s MSP Painting Competition, where it received a Silver Medal in the Diorama category.
